Episode 009 – Reframe It, part 1- Change your Perception

Reframe It! Change Your Perception
It is not surprising to find studies reporting negativity can suck the positive or even slow it down creating an endless loop. The trick is to be able to recognize being caught in the endless loop and find a way to break out of it. Being in this loop is inhibiting your ability to move forward or even past where you are in life. Many of us find ourselves here and some never move past it.
I recently found myself unknowingly in a loop and chose to reframe my perception. It is a constant activity with reframing. Being aware is the key and then being able to reframe is the freedom to shape my life.
Here are the 5 areas to include:
1. Find your balance (mental and physical).
o Do not allow excuses impact your balance – reject them!
o Forgive often – yourself included!
2. Push yourself out of your comfort zone.
o Staying in your comfort zone means you are standing still and not moving forward.
o Challenge yourself daily and keep it real.
3. Change your language.
o If you want to be positive, then you need to speak positively.
o Set your own tone, do not let others set it for you.
o Remember spoken words are not the only language to consider and sometimes it’s the silent ones that are the ones that count.
4. Be fearless, proceed with purpose.
o Know why you are doing this.
o And make it count!
5. Keep moving forward!!
o Standing still is not an option.
o Do not give up.
o While detours come into play on this journey called life, we may shift but do not concede.
